ORDER PROCESSING

The process or operation from order placement through delivery is known as order processing. This is a major element of fulfilling retail orders, as dependability and precision result in satisfied customers. Distribution centers are a typical term for activities or facilities that process orders. The "pick-pack-and-ship" process has a broad range of levels of automation, from totally manual and paper-driven to highly automated and entirely mechanized; the systems in charge of this operation are commonly referred to as "Warehouse Management Systems”.






 Fuiyoh Hub Company uses various types of order processing for customers such as walk-in service, Fuiyoh apps on devices, and also picking up the customer’s goods from their homes. For walk-in service, customers can pick any courier service that suits their wants such as Pos Laju, JNT Express, Ninja Van, or others. Right after the customer chooses their courier service, Fuiyoh Hub will take responsibility to manage the customer's goods by packing the goods in front of the customer itself. This brings benefits to both parties and Fuiyoh Hub getting the trust from the customers that they pack the goods in great condition before they send the goods to courier services picked by the customer and bring the customer’s satisfaction to use their services. Then, the employees will segregate the goods from each box of the courier service that the customer chose to facilitate the work of picking goods from the courier service according to their schedule. Fuiyoh Hub is concerned about customer's goods which they packed the goods according to their specification for glassware items, the employees will use bubble wrap and put the goods into a specific box for double custody to prevent damage to the goods and put the fragile sticker on the top of the box. Next, after the packing activities have been done, the employees will key in the data and details about the goods to ship from the courier service picked by customers to make it easier that the goods to be delivered smoothly to the customer. They use their own system to track the goods to inform the customers where and when the goods are expected to deliver. The customer made their payment after the employees label the details and weigh the goods. Then customers just wait for the courier service to deliver their goods to the destination. 


Fuiyoh Hub also has its own app called “Fuiyoh Hub” which can make the customers purchase their services easier through their apps only. Customer can use their service by booking slots for the courier service that they want and also putting in the time when they want to send their goods to the hub. The process was still the same for the walk-in services but it was different which the part of the booking slot through apps. After they purchased the services through the apps, they still have to go to send their goods to the hub. Lastly, customers can purchase the services through the apps and the employees will take the goods to the customer’s house and bring them to the hub for packaging process and shipment. They still manage to make various types of ordering processes to make sure that customers are satisfied with their service and they can pick what services they want and how the order process mode suits their situation.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is a very important process in a company. Transport helps in the assembly of raw materials and distribution of finished goods. It makes it possible to move goods from one place to another place. The way Fuiyoh Hub manages the movement of the customer's goods is by weighing and measuring each item first before proceeding it to other step.


Fuiyoh also offer their special service that is bubble wrap service before pass the parcel to the courier. After that, Fuiyoh Hub will wait for the courier to come pick up the item according to the designated courier category. Every courier has been set to come pick up the goods at Fuiyoh Hub according to the time determined by Fuiyoh Hub. For example, Ninja Van will come after break which is at 2:00 p.m. while Shopee express will come to pick up items at 4 p.m. Every item that is late from the item the courier to come pick up, the item will be picked up by the courier on the next day. After the courier takes the item from Fuiyoh Hub, they will send the item to their warehouse for the next process until it reaches the owner of the item. Fuiyoh also deliver the customer goods from the hub to the warehouse courier service. Fuiyoh will use a van or car to deliver to the warehouse if the courier service cannot pick up at Fuiyoh Hub.

Other than that, Fuiyoh also has a service to pick up items from the customer's house and to be sent to Fuiyoh Hub. If the item is in bulk Fuiyoh will use van to pick up the customer item but if customer item just in low quantity Fuiyoh just use a car to pick up the item. Then the item will be managed by Fuiyoh Hub in terms of packaging, measuring, and weighing. After that, the courier will pick the customer item or Fuiyoh sent it to the courier service warehouse. So that, customers don't need to go to the hub anymore. Customer also can make an order by using Fuiyoh application and make a payment by use Fuiyoh application. It will help Fuiyoh reach the order that have been made and it would be easily for Fuiyoh to reach the customer. Moreover, for the international post, customer can choose use EMS by Pos Laju or Aramex by ABX. The item will be pick up by the courier and the courier will handle it to post it to overseas.

For FuiyohHub, they can increase efficiency quickly by having quality and traceability data available at all locations and in between other courier companies. They have a good collaboration between other courier company, and they shared their tracking systems. There are courier software and apps that offer convenient payment and pickup options. Once the customers use the apps to ask for pickup, Fuiyoh will come to their house and take their goods to be weight and measured to prepare the invoice for the price. Once done, the company will notify through apps and customers can proceed with payment using his credit card to settle the bill and Fuiyoh will start with packaging for the goods to be prepared for courier company to take and transport to where the customer’s wanted. Moreover, customers can send in their feedback through the app. They can send their ratings and raise their complaints in case the deliveries are problematic, which action will be known to Fuiyoh and across other courier company that customer’s chose. Through this feedback system, courier companies can get a better feel for their customers. They can work on their weaknesses and understand the concerns of their customers.

    


 


As we know, the logistic industry is using more robots and drones like never before. Bigger companies like UPS and Amazon are experimenting with drone technology. They are starting to use drones in their delivery services. These self-operating drones help reduce company expenses in many ways. Customer goods will be held in an orderly manner according to the chosen courier service so that there is no mixing and exchange of customer goods due to no systematic storage of goods. 


The place where the goods are stored is only inside the hub as well, thus making it easier for employees to manage the goods. Besides, FuiyohHub also provides closed-circuit television (CCTV) around their hub so that they can check the CCTV if anything happens and also avoid theft. Due to the systematic and careful storage of goods, FuiyohHub does not experience any problems when managing inventory such as broken items. This is because the items or goods sent by the customer will be carefully wrapped and packed in front of the customer before being stored. 


Additionally, FuiyohHub includes a productive system that can manage the entrance and exit of goods from the hub's overflow. By doing this, the courier will come and pick up the customer's goods according to the schedule set every work day.
